No Surprises.
Your quoted website design price is your website design price. No hidden designer fees and no mystery charges showing up at launch. Domain registration, hosting, premium plugins, logo creation, copywriting, e-commerce and advanced functionality are not included. If your project requires any of those, the cost is discussed before anything gets added.
Real People.
Websites should look good, but they also need to make sense. I create digital spaces with personality, clarity and purpose.

A Few Things You Need To Know.
I handle the design and development of your website. You handle ownership of the hosting and domain that your website lives on. Here’s what that means and how to get ready before your project starts.
Hosting Is Separate.
Your L.A. Creative website design price does not include web hosting or domain registration. Your website needs a hosting company such as Bluehost, GoDaddy, Hostinger, SiteGround or another WordPress-compatible provider in order to live online. Those fees are paid directly to the hosting company and are separate from the amount you pay L.A. Creative to design and build your website.
Yes. Your website needs a hosting provider in order to live online. Think of web hosting as the space where your website lives and your domain as the address people type to get there.
You may use Bluehost, GoDaddy, Hostinger, SiteGround or another WordPress-compatible provider.
Your hosting plan and domain registration are separate expenses from your L.A. Creative website design fee.
No. Your package price covers the actual design and development of your website.
Your domain name, hosting, premium plugins, premium software, business email, e-commerce tools and other third-party services are separate unless your project agreement specifically states otherwise.
If something outside the included package is required, we’ll discuss it before anything is purchased.
You do. Your hosting account and domain should be registered in your name using your email address and your payment information.
I may need access during the design and launch process, but the hosting account and domain should remain yours.
This protects your business and gives you full control of your website infrastructure even if you decide to work with another developer later.
Visit Bluehost
Go to Bluehost and choose a WordPress hosting package that fits your business. A basic small-business website usually does not need the most expensive hosting package.
Choose Your Domain
Your domain is your website address. Try to choose something short, easy to spell and as close to your business name as possible.
Check Availability
Search for the domain name you want. If it is unavailable, try a close variation that is still easy for your customers to remember. Double-check the spelling before you purchase it.
Create Your Account
Create the hosting account using your own name, email address, business information and password. Do not register your business domain under L.A. Creative’s email address.
Purchase Hosting
Choose the billing period that works for you and complete your hosting purchase. Remember: your hosting payment goes to Bluehost, not L.A. Creative.
Register Your Domain
If your hosting package allows you to register a domain during setup, follow the prompts and register the domain in your name. Your domain registration and hosting may renew on different schedules, so keep track of both.
Verify Your Email
Watch your email for verification messages from the domain or hosting provider. Complete any required verification so your domain remains active and properly registered.
Connect The Domain
If your domain and hosting are purchased through the same company, the provider may connect them automatically. If you purchased your domain somewhere else, such as GoDaddy, it may need to be pointed to your hosting account.
Give Me The Access I Need
Once your hosting is ready, I’ll tell you exactly what access is needed for your project. Whenever possible, we’ll use appropriate account access or a separate WordPress administrator login instead of casually sharing your personal password.
You’re Ready To Build
Once your hosting, domain and project materials are ready, we can move into the design process.
Purchasing hosting does not mean your website has been designed. Your hosting provider supplies the technology and server space that allows your website to exist online. L.A. Creative handles the actual design, layout, branding and development of your website.
The smoother your materials are organized before the project, the faster we can get into the actual design.
That’s perfectly fine. You do not need to purchase another domain just because we’re building a new website.
If your existing domain is with GoDaddy, Bluehost or another registrar, it can usually be connected to the hosting account where your new website will live.
We’ll determine what needs to be connected before launch.
Yes. You are still responsible for purchasing and owning the hosting account, but if you’re unsure which step you’re on or what information is needed, I can help point you in the right direction before we begin.
